Career Experience...

Senah S. Andrews graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in Psychology and graduated from Radford University with a MS in Psychology. Senah is a North Carolina Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) with over 25 years of clinical experience providing psychological services and behavioral consulting. Senah has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient private practice, inpatient state psychiatric hospital, inpatient and emergency department of local community hospital, group homes, community college, university virtual campus division and corporate consultant.

In Her Spare Time...

Senah loves spending time with her friends and family.

She has developed a love of the outdoors, traveling and all things water! 

Senah's joy of cooking began in childhood and has created fun opportunities to bring people together and celebrate life's special moments.  

Senah is an animal lover and enjoys learning about animal -assisted therapy/ equine therapy and volunteering at a local therapeutic horse ranch. 

Service is the cornerstone of Senah’s life both personally and professionally. Through local and global organizations, Senah has worked to raise awareness and promote medical research in the areas of mental health and physical illness, provide necessary medical treatment in underserved regions of the world, promote healthy child development through education and cultural arts, eradicate hunger and homelessness and strive for equality and justice for all people. 

2018 Highlights:

Senah was a 2018 candidate for NC House of Representatives and was fortunate to have been chosen to participate as a featured candidate in an independent film airing in 2019. Although unsuccessful at the polls, Senah outperformed expectations, developed key relationships throughout the State of North Carolina and expanded her reach and mission to empower women and children to create vision and live their best lives.

In the Fall of 2018 Senah travelled to Bamako, Mali on the continent of Africa for a month where she worked with school aged children teaching mindfulness-based stress reduction. Senah was well received and able to incorporate hands on training for school staff and set up a plan to create virtual teacher training for ongoing support. Senah continues this global outreach through and will partner with the organization on girls empowerment, stress management, mindfulness and so much more!

Senah moved her office from the Union Street location to a permanent home in the historic Locke Mill business tower on the corner of Church Street and Buffalo Avenue. Senah was able to realize her dream of creating a healing space to conduct 1:1 therapy and coaching as well as groups, seminars, workshops and retreats. With the new space Senah has shifted to a preventative mental health model where she will focus on psychoeducational groups, skills coaching, women’s empowerment, children and teen camps and coaching through life transitions. Senah will also offer health coaching for good brain health, improved physical and emotional health.
